Corrugated base paper is also known as corrugated core paper. It is the raw paper used to form the corrugated core of corrugated cardboard. It is processed by corrugating machine, and the core paper is corrugated into corrugated paper by a corrugated roller heated to 160~180 °C, and there are web paper and flat paper. The quantification is 112~200g/m2. The fibrous tissue is homogeneous. The paper width is consistent in thickness. The color is bright yellow. There is a certain loose thickness. It has high stiffness, ring compressive strength and water absorption, and excellent fitting adaptability. It is made of natural hardwood semi-chemical pulp, cold alkali pulp or natural alkali grass pulp or waste pulp, after free pulping, it is sent to the round mesh multi-cylinder paper machine for copying. It is mainly used as the corrugated core layer (middle layer) of corrugated cardboard, which plays an important role in the shockproof performance of corrugated cardboard. It can also be used alone as a wrapping paper for fragile items.
